Alright, I've got an axle nut question for you jokers. This probably falls into the 'dumb question' category, but I'll stick my neck out anyway.I know that the right rear nut size is 27mm and the left is 22mm. I was planning on buying the Tusk 27/17 axle wrench, but then I got to thinking about what I would do to hold the left side if I had to pull the rear axle off on the trail. The way I look at it, there are 3 questions to answer that would yield the answer:1. Is there a 22mm socket already in the mini-toolkit that came with the bike? Ihaven't checked and I'm at work.2.

Does the left side hold well enough that I can loosen the right side without a tool actually holding the left? I don't think this is possible, but I thought I would ask. Every time I have removed the rear axle in my garage, I have put a 22mm socket on the left side and and 27mm socket on the right. I crank it down pretty good so I doubt I would be able to break the nut loose with just a 27mm on the right side if I were stuck on the trail.3.
Do I need to pack my own 22mm. I realize that this is probably my answer. If it is, is anyone aware of a compact 22mm tool aside from just a spare 22mm open end wrench or something similar.Thanks.
